I think at the end of the day correcting misinformation and questioning what we think we know as a habit of mind is incredibly important
– Adam Conover

Getting fit can feel really overwhelming. When I go to the gym or talk with my friends or coworkers, I notice some people who are really into it. They talk a lot about fitness and seem to make it a big part of their lives. There are also folks who have been working on getting fit for a long time, and they keep going. But the tricky part comes when someone new tries to get fit.
No matter what we want to achieve, many of us want to reach our goals quickly. We want to get to the finish line fast. It’s like we’ve been trained to compare ourselves with others who are better than us. Sometimes, this can be a good thing and help us improve. But in some cases, it can be harmful, especially if we don’t have the right information or haven’t checked everything we need to know.
Every fitness trainer will tell you that getting fit takes hard work, patience, and not giving up. It takes time. You also need to pay attention to what your body is telling you. The only person you should compare yourself to is your past self, not other people. But we often forget this important advice.
When I started my fitness journey four years ago, I was also a bit confused. I wanted to become a fast runner, so I started without getting help from a professional. The first three months were really tough. I got hurt a lot, but with good advice from experts, I realized that my goal was right, but I needed to make some changes to how I was doing things.
In this blog, I want to explain some truths and false beliefs about fitness that many of us think are true. Like our teachers used to say, there are no silly questions. Have we forgotten that? Every time we make choices about our health and fitness, we need to stop, think, ask questions, understand, and then move forward. Some of us might know this deep down, but we don’t always use it in our daily workouts.
So, welcome to this journey! Let’s take positive steps together toward our bigger goal!
Remember, Stay Fit! Stay Healthy!
Your journey is inspiring…and it’s great that you are able to write about it to help others to take up this journey..keep blogging!
